About Us

Kula is a Sanskrit word that means a community of like-minded or like-hearted people coming together for a common goal or purpose. For us, it means family and this is our inspiration for creating all our products.

It all started with candles. I have been using them ever since, anything that helps you relax - scented candles, wax melts, diffusers. Don’t you just love the scent of fragrant air everytime you walk past the room? It instantly changes your mood, just like that and we use them almost everyday during work, during yoga practice, or just lounging on the couch. Candles give a sense of optimism. It symbolizes hope and openness to new possibilities and adventures in life and that is what we would like to share with our family. We want them to experience the same benefits that we get from using candles and to impart with them the same tranquility that we feel everytime we use our candles.

Kula was formed in the midst of the covid pandemic, and with everything that’s happening around the world - people getting sick, some losing their job, others losing their loved ones, people facing financial, physical, and mental crisis, it makes you realize what really is important in life and for us, that is - the value of family.
